When I was young in the art school, I had a great influence from the French impressionists, especially from Matisse.
I was fortunate to be able to see his special exhibition in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York in 1992~1993.
And I'm lucky to live near by the museum and can visit there any time I want.
Though I think I walked out of master's influence by now yet I don't seem to have any style of my own and each work is like mere or less experimental.

I have been a professional photographer over 40 years so I guess I can stay as an amateur painter.

Educations:  Tokyo Visual Arts in Japan / Persons in New York
Exhibitions: Multimedia Gallery in Soho / Synchronicity Gallery in Soho / Puchion Gallery in East Village
